We continually revise and refine our choices to include the most important cultural and educational experiences for every tour. After careful consideration and review, we then fit all of the parts together to create a well balanced in-depth itinerary. We send participants both practical and educational information about the tour in pre-trip mailings, which include detailed itineraries, information on accommodations, climate, local cultures and customs, suggested attire as well as a topical reading list. All of our tours are accompanied by a Painted Desert tour manager who oversees the daily details to insure you a safe, worry-free and comfortable travel adventure. Small Group Size Since our groups range from approximately 20 – 30 participants, individuals have the perfect opportunity to become well acquainted with their like-minded fellow travelers. The intimate size promotes both easy interaction with and accessibility to the educational guests that we meet along the way as well as the tour's expert study leader.
